Paul Ryan Media teamed with Nissan in November 2017 to find the greatest NISMO racecar of all time via a unique poll on Twitter.

Fans voted in a series of elimination polls to select their favorite Nissan racer - a stellar line-up which included cars from Japan, Europe, the USA and Australia.

We produced the entire campaign which featured images, video and infographics for NISMO's social media platforms on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The giant-killing Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 took the final victory as the fan's favorite.

The car beat out three notable GT-R machines, the Bathurst 12 Hour, Blancpain GT Series and GT300 championship-winning Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3, JGTC championship-winning Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 2003 and the Super GT 2014/15 championship-winning Nissan GT-R NISMO GT500 14/15.

In production for just five years, the Skyline GT-R R32 earned top honours in championships and prestigious races on three different continents. In Europe, the R32 took the overall victory in the Spa 24 in 1991.

1991 also marked the first year the car won the Australian Touring Car Championship. They would follow it up with another championship in 1992, taking Bathurst 1000 victories both years.

However, it was in Japanese touring cars that the R32 saw arguably its biggest successes.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 scored the victory in every Japanese Touring Car Championship race during the 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993 seasons, earning championships for the Hasemi and Impul teams along the way.

In addition to its racing repertoire, the R32’s status as a fan favorite was cemented with its inclusion in the Gran Turismo video game series.
